Ed now that barca have signed a RB are they going to get veratti or last i know they tried but psg said no. and what's the news with neymar? any update in your free time would be appreciated.

{Ed002's Note - Three clubs remain interested in Verratti if he becomes available - right now he is not but Barcelona, Inter and Chelsea would push for a deal if something were to change. Interest is there in Neymar from PSG but it is unlikely that he will be sold this summer. If he were to become available it is likely Chelsea would renew their interest and that Real Madrid and, potentially, Manchester United could look to him.}

ed i know you don't like to talk release clauses and you did mention clauses work within a certain legal framework aka, the iberian teams when they need to buy players from another team in the region.

does this mean that for neymar to go to psg, they would have to give him the money to buy himself out, so he can join them as a free agent or something to that cause? i only say that as i understood that's something that happened with herrera to man utd.

obviously i could be talking complete bollocks, and it may not matter if the recent news is that he will stay with barca.

{Ed002's Note - They cannot give him the money to buy himself out of the contract. If they did it would pretty much double the cost as the money would be unearned income taxed at the highest rate of 45%.}

ah how silly of me ofcourse it would be unearned income.
